For years, I worked in commercial photography. It paid, and I did some good work. Eventually, I walked away. Though I never say never.
Now I photograph what I want, the way I want. I still wrestle with myself, but I’ve stopped trying to follow a single direction.
I’ve returned to analog tools that calm me down, built a small darkroom in my basement, and brought a few old cameras back to life.
